Robo-Camp - Donate for STEMHack We are asking for donations to support continued programming for STEMHack - our free STEM summer camp for local preteens. Donations to this program will go towardsWhat is STEMHack?STEMHack is a free summer camp for local preteens tha provides 8 weeks of programming that serves as an introduction to coding, robotics, and engineering. In our first year, we engaged 10 kids. Why it's important:Summer of 2025 was our first run of STEMHack. From data collected from our pre and post program evaluations we saw:- 100% increase of interest and understanding in coding- 20% increase of interest in Engineering and Robotics- 60% increase in understanding of Engineering and RoboticsSTEMHack is about so much more than the curriculum. In our post-program evaluation from the kids, 100% of the respondents reported that they made friends and had fun at the camp. To us, that is just as meaningful as the impact on their interest and understanding in STEM topics.What will your donation fund:As mentioned above, this camp is free. We provide lunch for the kids every day of the camp, fund paid staff to facilitate, and purchase the curriculum materials for the course. That is all before factoring in the cost of facilities, administration, and other costs.Your donation will go towards the direct costs of this program including: food, equipment, and staffing.Thank you for your support!
